Maxine Chernoff
Maxine Chernoff (born 1952), is an American novelist, writer, poet, academic and literary magazine editor.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois, where she grew up, and attended Illinois University.
She and her husband, Paul Hoover are editors of the annual literary journal New American Writing. Chernoff, her husband, and their three children live in Mill Valley, California.
